Military Service Members, Veterans, and Spouses

Recent amendments to Texas Occupations Code Chapter 55 requires Texas State Agencies to adopt rules necessary to implement certain provisions regarding that Chapter. These laws provide certain benefits to military service members, military veterans, and military spouses who apply for an occupational license in the State of Texas. Below are the specific rules that TSBP has implement as provided by Occupations Code Chapter 55.
Current and prospective licensees are encouraged to review Board rules 283.12 and 297.10 to review the various options available to military personnel, veterans, and spouses.
