About
Board meetings are held quarterly.
During the meetings, Board members discuss and formulate public policy with regard to the practice of pharmacy and act in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Board members receive input from members of the public through task forces, public hearings, public forums, electronic media, and other forms of communication.
Information regarding submitting written comments on proposed rules published in the Texas Register for review by the Board can be viewed here. Typically, the deadline for submitting written comments before a Board meeting is five business days.
Any person wishing to address the Board regarding an agenda item during a Board meeting must submit a public comment request form here. Typically, the deadline for submitting a request for oral public comment at a Board meeting is two business days.
