To search using Google, enter a few descriptive words related to your topic and press the Enter key (or click the Google Search button). Google will return a list of web pages that match your search terms.

Search Tips

  • Use a few specific words related to your topic.
  • Put quotation marks around an exact phrase to search for those words together.
  • To look for a specific type of document, add the file type to your search terms, such as PDF
  • Add more descriptive words to narrow your results.
  • Use fewer or broader terms if you do not find what you need.
