E-PRESCRIBING REMINDER
E-Prescribing Required Beginning January 1, 2021

House Bill 2174, 86th Texas Legislature, required that mandatory electronic controlled substances (Schedules II through V) prescribing begin January 1, 2021.
Please note that TSBP does not have the authority to grant or deny waivers.
Waivers are granted by the prescriber’s own licensing agency.


OFFICIAL PRESCRIPTION FORM FOR SCHEDULE Ⅱ DRUGS

Effective June 1, 2019, ALL Official Prescription Forms ordered prior to September 1, 2018, will no longer be valid.*

*NOTE: Due to a known cyberattack on specific systems, these forms may be considered valid under certain conditions between December 1, 2023, and December 15, 2023. Learn more on our website here.
