Stacy Hightower has devoted more than 39 years to the profession of pharmacy, with a focus on community practice, patient safety, and technician advancement. As Regulatory Compliance Officer and Provider Relations Lead at Las Colinas Pharmacy in Irving, she oversees compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy and USP standards while cultivating collaborative relationships between healthcare providers, patients, and the pharmacy team.

Stacy was honored as the inaugural 2024 PCCA Pharmacy Technician of the Year and earned her Fellowship with the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (FAPC), a distinction held by only a few technicians nationwide. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC) and as President of the Pharmacy Compounding Foundation Board, where she established a technician scholarship program that continues to provide annual awards nationwide. She also helped design and present a module for the APC/PCF/VCU 15-hour CE Program on the Ethical, Legal, and Regulatory Foundations of compounding.

A member of the Texas Pharmacy Association, Stacy remains an active participant in professional advancement through PCCA’s Technician and Marketing Committees, contributing to educational and outreach initiatives that strengthen the role of pharmacy technicians. In 2025, she was selected to join the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) and Pharmacy Leadership & Education Institute (PLEI) STAR Leadership Program, focusing on Servant Leadership, Integrity, and Results through collaboration.

Stacy continues to advocate for patients and pharmacy professionals across Texas through education and community involvement. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to the world’s top beaches, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, taking on DIY projects, cooking healthy meals, and spending cherished time with her two grandchildren.
