Continuing Education Tracking
The Texas State Board of Pharmacy has partnered with Propelus CE Broker to support the implementation of Senate Bill 912 (2025) and the new requirements for electronic verification of continuing education compliance prior to renewal.
Here's what you need to know to get started with CE Broker today:
- You do not have to pay for a CE Broker Basic account. Licensees and registrants should, at a minimum, establish a free, basic account with CE Broker. Licensees and registrants do have the option to subscribe to an upgraded account, which offers additional CE tracking tools. Activate your free account.

technicians must be verified through a continuing education tracking
system BEFORE RENEWAL.
Before renewal, licensees and registrants will be required to:
- Have an active, basic CE Broker account
- Ensure all completed CE coursework is reported in CE Broker
- Meet all applicable TSBP continuing education requirements
Licensees and registrants without a "Complete" status in CE Broker will be unable to renew their license or registration.
*When creating an account, use an email address you can access long term. A personal email address is recommended rather than a work or employer-issued email address.
With a free Basic account, you can:
- Know your requirements: View the board requirements to understand exactly what CE is needed for renewal.
- Check your course history: View all your reported CE in one place to confirm your completions are recorded.
- Report hours: Easily self-report missing courses and upload proof of completion and verify what education providers have reported on your behalf. You will be able to upload your NABP CPE Monitor transcriptions without manually entering each course.

Already have a Propelus CE Broker account?
If you hold a pharmacist license or pharmacy technician registration in another state and already have a CE Broker account, you can simply add your Texas license or registration for free.
- Note: courses entered for another state license do not automatically apply to your Texas pharmacy license and must be resubmitted.

Frequently Asked Questions About Propelus CE Broker™
Yes; to use Propelus CE Broker you will need to create an account. It is free to create a Basic account. Please visit https://propelus.com/covered-professionals to activate your free account.
No. You are never required to pay for Propelus CE Broker to manage your CE or report your CE to the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. While the Basic account is free, please note that the Texas State Board of Pharmacy renewal fee will still be charged through the Online Licensing System.
On the CE Broker Homepage, select your state and profession. You’ll be directed to an account creation page and will need an email address to create your free account. You do not need your license number to create your account, but you will need it later to connect to your Board. The basic account is always free; no credit card is required when activating your account. On your Propelus CE Broker account homepage, click the Report CE button. You'll next select which type of CE you want to report from the available reporting options offered by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. After selecting the type of CE you want to report, you will complete the Report CE Credit questions and upload your certificate of completion (or other CE documentation). In some instances, education providers will report completion of CE on your behalf. You may also take courses from our Course Search that automatically report your completion. Any course marked "Take It Here" will automatically report your completion and upload a certificate of completion to your CE Broker account. Propelus CE Broker allows you to manage and track the requirements for multiple licenses in one account. To add additional licenses to your account, each license must be issued in a state and profession that currently partners with Propelus. To add a license, click Add License within the Licenses section on your Credential Overview page. This can happen for a few reasons. It could be that a course was from the wrong year, not all of your courses have been reported, or there is an issue with the information provided. If you believe your status is incorrect, you can contact Propelus CE Broker Customer Support .
