Pharmacy Technician Registration Fees
Submit Pharmacy Technician Renewal
Renewals are available to pay online 60 days prior to expiration date of registration.
Between each renewal period, (every 2 years) you must meet one the following requirements regarding Continuing Education (CE) have :
- completed 20 hours Continuing Education (CE) as specified by Texas Administrative Code, Title 22, Part 15, Chapter 297.8; and/or
- a current certification with Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Renewing After the Pharmacy Technician Registration Expiration Date
If a completed renewal application with appropriate fee is not received in the Board’s office on or before the last day of the assigned expiration month, the technician’s registration status will reflect DELINQUENT, and a late fee will be assessed.
TSBP DOES NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES:
- Accept telephone payments.
- Waive delinquent (late) fees on renewals paid after the expiration date.
- Fees are non-refundable.
If the registration is not renewed within one year of the original expiration date, the status will reflect EXPIRED. Once a registration is EXPIRED, the technician is required to start the registration process over again by completing a the online technician registration application.
