Prosecutes cases involving violations of the laws and rules pertaining to the practice of pharmacy at informal conferences and, if necessary, at the State Office of Administrative Hearings. Assists in resolution of complaints not resulting in contested case proceedings. Works closely with the agency's General Counsel in a team environment regarding legal and adjudicative matters. Coordinates and assists the General Counsel in providing advice on issues, rules, and policies related to human resources, employment matters, and agency operations. If necessary, assists in the representation of the agency in employment-related litigation matters. Works closely with the agency's General Counsel and Director of Operations in a team environment. Licensing Specialist 16673497 24-043 Performs complex (journey-level) licensing work in processing applications and supplemental information for pharmacy licenses. Work includes reviewing various applications for completeness; data entering information into computer system; communicating with applicants verbally and in writing; and interpreting TSBP rules relating to pharmacy licensure. Must exercise vigilance in maintaining files and records, both manual and computer records.
